Slowly and steadily, Mike Bauer has been releasing well crafted songs and music videos for the last six years. Releasing his first EP while still in law school, he continues to grow and shape his sound.
Recently working and writing with the incredibly talented producer, Berg (The Decoders, Maejor), he has a genre-bending style that is all his own. Occasionally co-writing with the legendary Richard Rudolph, whose credits include Minnie Riperton, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Stevie Wonder, has only refined that style. So far, 2018 has brought the release of several new singles, including the haunting "I Am Her"; a collaboration with DNTST on the single "Stranger"; and, the soulful "The Truth About Happiness," which yielded a 2018 Hollywood Music and Media nomination for Best R&B/Soul/Funk.
Noted for his distinctive voice and versatile writing, in 2014 he received the Hollywood Music and Media Award for Best Male Vocal Performance, and the Akademia Music Awards named “Sugar” the Best R&B Song of 2015. Additionally, Music Connection Magazine named him and his band one of their “Hot 100 Live Performers.”
