Born and raised on the 84th street of east Oakland, at 6yrs old Princess and her brothers and sisters started singing with the St. Benedict Catholic Church Youth Choir, years later her father formed a band with her brothers on guitar, drums, bass, and her older sisters on the keyboard. This led to the emergence of her stage name ‘Valufa’ meaning 84 in “Tonga island language”.
Princess has pretty much composed her own songs. She writes them down with a little help from her brothers and sisters. She has a combination of different skills like writing, singing, and painting. The album cover of her single was also painted by her.
Princess music reflects her personality; passionate, lively and kind. Her everyday life with friends and family brought about her music ‘Odyssey’ which she sang out of depression.
Princess has already done some music shows around San Francisco Bay Area in places like; Portland, Seattle, Reno, Los Angeles, Arizona, Texas and Utah on the Reggae stage with some International and local artists like J boog, Common King, Fiji, Egyptian, Barrington Levy but all these were with the Valufa Band, and now she’s ready to share her talent with the world on her own.
